Stealing Dawn Entertainment is an acoustic group with a twist, performing in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. area since 2014 after singer Stephanie Mendez and pianist Phil Kuhn discovered their mutual musical interests as colleagues.  After a few short seasons, the duo turned into a full-time trio and now four-piece. Stealing Dawn Entertainment performs musical selections from a wide range of styles, including the torch songs of the 30s & 40s, jazz standards of the 50s and 60s, classic rock, new rock and alternative, R&B, Hip Hop and current popular tunes of the decades and today. Our set mixes will typically feature a variety of artists, so you will often hear us perform an Etta James tune followed by Sam Smith, Coolio, ZZ Ward, Nina Simone, perhaps Radiohead and of course Aerosmith!
